Flymoney publishes European passenger rights information under a documented method for sources, legal freshness and corrections. Law in force, case law, political reform and assessment of a specific flight are not merged.
Source hierarchy
Published legal instruments on EUR-Lex, judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union and official information from EU institutions or competent authorities take priority. Secondary sources may support research, but they do not replace a primary source for a central legal statement.
Legal status and reform
Flymoney distinguishes adoption, publication, entry into force and applicability. The reform finally approved on 13 July 2026 is therefore not described as already applicable. Until a new legal act becomes applicable, Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 and relevant published case law remain the basis of current claim assessment.
Author and legal review
Each legal page has a responsible author or reviewer, a genuine review date and verifiable primary sources. The responsible reviewer checks the legal basis, freshness, evidential logic and the distinction between general information and assessment of an individual case.
Editorial production and automation
Templates and technical tools may support structure, translation and quality control. They must not create unsupported facts, invented judgments, fictional experience or large numbers of substantially similar search pages. Airline, airport, route and knowledge pages remain outside the search index until their independent editorial value is expressly approved.
Uncertainty, evidence and individual facts
Where the operating carrier, route, final arrival, cause or reasonable measure is unresolved, that uncertainty is stated. A flight status record may prove a time but does not automatically explain a cause. A carrier message may allege a reason but does not replace examination of its connection with the specific flight.
Correction procedure
Demonstrable errors are checked against the primary source and corrected promptly. A material correction receives a new modification date. A purely linguistic or presentational change is not presented as a substantive update. Reports can be submitted through the contact page.
Commercial model and independence
Flymoney operates on a success based model. That commercial model must not alter the legal presentation. A claim is not described as certain merely because acceptance would be commercially attractive. Costs, conditions and possible defences are explained separately.
